The HVAC/R demand for R-22 refrigerant remains strong. The anticipated transition to EPA approved alternatives like R-410A has been slower than expected. The result is an estimated 27.5 million pound R-22 shortfall. Plan now to retrofit existing cooling equipment and transition away from R-22 with the help of alternative refrigerants, such as R-410A. All Crums air conditioning units use the environmentally-friendly R-410A.
